Source: https://vern.de/tomatensorte-johannisfeuer/The Ficarazzi tomato is a special variety that impresses with its distinctive shape and intense flavor. The full-red, flat-round fruits are heavily ribbed and a real eye-catcher in any garden. Due to its compact height, this variety is particularly well-suited for smaller gardens or for growing in pots. However, outdoor cultivation without a protective roof is not recommended .
The Ficarazzi tomato should be regularly pruned and ideally grown as two-shoot plants to achieve its full yield . Because of the numerous, yet heavy fruits, it's important to support the plant well to ensure stability and a bountiful harvest.
The Ficarazzi impresses with its juicy fruits and balanced sweetness and acidity . Its mild aroma and soft flesh make it a versatile tomato, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
The Ficarazzi tomato combines impressive appearance with excellent flavor and is easy to care for. It's the perfect choice for anyone looking for a high-yielding tomato variety that can be easily grown even in smaller spaces.
