3. What does fruit ripening or ripening time mean: early, medium or late?

Fruit ripeness or ripening time indicates how long a tomato needs after fertilization until it is ready to harvest. This varies from variety to variety. 

- Early varieties usually only need approx. 50 - 77 days 
- Medium varieties need approx. between  65 - 80 days
- and late varieties need 85 - 90 days
